Pokemon Card Generator
This Pokemon card generator runs entirely in your browser. Pick a template, upload a photo of anything, set the name, HP, type, moves and rarity, and the card redraws live as you type. When it looks right, download the finished PNG.
FAQ
Pokemon Card Generator FAQ
Does the Pokemon Card Generator cost anything?
Nothing to pay. There is no sign-up, no account and no watermark, and the template switcher, photo upload, live preview and PNG download are all part of the tool. Your photo stays on your device unless you choose to save or share the card.
Can I upload my own picture on a Pokemon card?
Sure. Upload any image: a selfie, a pet photo, a drawing, a logo or a meme. The editor crops it to fit the card art area automatically. You can also roll a random Pokemon for official artwork, or leave the art window empty and fill it in later.
What card styles and templates are available?
Three templates: Classic with the yellow base-set look, Modern with the deep Scarlet & Violet-era border, and TCG Pocket with the clean rounded app style. Four rarity finishes sit on top: Common, Rare with a silver edge, Holo with a rainbow edge, and Full Art, where the artwork fills the whole card.
Can I make a Trainer Card with this tool?
No, and that is deliberate. Trainer cards use a different layout: name plate, badge row and partner Pokemon instead of HP and attacks. They live on their own page, the Pokemon Trainer Card Generator, and you can jump there right from the card type row. The Trainer page links back here, so a matching set stays a half-hour job.
Can I make an Energy Card?
Yes. Choose Energy in the card type row and the generator switches to the energy layout: a full-color card in your chosen type, with the energy symbol centered and the type label underneath. Quickest way to give a custom deck matching energy.
How do I download my custom Pokemon card?
Hit Download PNG. The card saves at 630 x 880, crisp enough for social media, Discord or a print shop. The Copy Card Text button grabs a card description together with a link to this page.
Can I print the card I make?
Yes. The download is a print-ready PNG at the standard 63 x 88 mm trading-card ratio, so print it at home on card stock or send it to a print shop. The tool is for personal, educational and fan use; selling printed copies is not covered.
Does the generator save my work?
Automatically, in your own browser. Template, rarity, card text and your uploaded photo all sit in local storage, so a refresh or a return visit restores the card exactly as you left it. Nothing is uploaded anywhere, and clearing your browser data removes it.
What image formats can I upload?
PNG, JPEG, WebP and GIF stills, from anywhere: camera roll, camera, Google Drive, Dropbox, Pinterest, or a photo of a print. Images are resized on your device to fit the card art window, so even a huge photo stays smooth.
Does the Pokemon Card Generator work on mobile?
Yes. The form stacks and the preview sits on top on small screens, with touch-sized buttons. Build a card on your phone and finish it on a desktop later; the state follows you through local storage.
Is this an official Pokemon product?
No. This site is an unofficial fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or associated with Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures Inc. or The Pokemon Company. Pokemon and Pokemon character names are trademarks of their respective owners.
What can I use my custom Pokemon card for?
Anything personal: a birthday gift with a friend's photo, a meme card for a group chat, an anniversary keepsake, a classroom reward card, a fan-made character or a mockup for a custom deck. Personal and educational use is what it is for; commercial use is not covered.
