These terms govern your use of Random Pokemon Generator. They are written to be readable: by using the site you agree to them, so here is exactly what you are agreeing to.

The site provides a suite of browser-based Pokemon fan tools: the main Random Pokemon Generator, the Nuzlocke Team Builder, the Pokemon Team Picker, the Pokemon Wheel Spinner, the Random Shiny Pokemon Generator, the Random Mega Pokemon Generator, and the Random Pokemon Name Generator.
The service also includes interactive games — Pokemon Smash or Pass and Who's That Pokemon — plus reference content such as the Pokemon Shiny Odds calculator and the Pokemon Nature Chart lookup tool. All tools are provided at no cost, without accounts, for entertainment and team-planning purposes. How your data is handled is covered by the separate Privacy Policy.
Ownership
Pokemon, Pokemon character names, and related marks are trademarks of Nintendo, Game Freak, and The Pokemon Company. This site is an unofficial fan project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them. Official artwork displayed on the site is loaded from the public PokeAPI project and remains the property of its respective rights holders.
The site's original text, page design, and custom code are the work of the site maintainer. You may not republish the site's articles, tool interfaces, or code on another website without permission. The project's source is public on GitHub for transparency and learning; that visibility is not a license to rebrand the site as your own.
You are welcome to link to any page, quote short excerpts with attribution, share screenshots of your rolls and teams, and use the tools in streams, videos, and social posts — monetized or not. Sharing results is what the tools are for; the share links exist precisely so your squad rolls travel with you.
House rules
Use every tool as much as you like, for any lawful purpose: planning Nuzlocke runs, settling draft picks, streaming challenge runs, teaching probability, or settling arguments about who gets the last team slot. Personal, educational, and content-creation uses are all explicitly welcome.
Do not scrape the site at a volume or rate that degrades service for others; do not attempt to disrupt the site or its hosting; do not frame the site's pages inside another product in a way that implies affiliation or endorsement; and do not use the tools to promote unlawful content. Automated access for search indexing and archiving is fine.
The site relies on third parties — PokeAPI for data and artwork, Vercel for hosting, and Google Analytics 4 for anonymous usage statistics. Your use of the site is also subject to those services' own terms where applicable. Outbound links lead to sites we do not control; their content and policies are their own responsibility.
The legal necessities
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Stats, type matchups, shiny rates, and game mechanics are compiled from public sources and community research; games are patched and rebalanced, and fan data occasionally lags behind. For competitive play, verify critical numbers against official sources.
Roll outcomes are produced by your browser's random number generator. The site makes no promise that any particular Pokemon will appear, and no liability attaches to the outcome of any roll.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site maintainer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site — including lost data in browser storage, service interruptions, or decisions made based on the site's data. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using the site.
Pokemon games change with each generation, and the data on this site follows the most recent core release in effect when a page was last updated. Depending on which game version you are playing, exact values can differ: a shiny rate from a specific generation, or a type matchup from a past entry, might not apply to your title. Every page links its data source, and clicking through to the source lets you confirm the version being described.
Tools that talk to external services — artwork delivery, cry audio, analytics — depend on those providers being up. Outage or behavioral change on their side is outside this site's control, and the maintainer accepts no responsibility for the content or availability of any linked third-party site. An external link is a pointer, not an endorsement.
Housekeeping
These terms may be revised as the site evolves — new tools, new data sources, new legal requirements. The current version is always the one published on this page, identified by the revision date at the top. Material changes are visible in the site's public commit history. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
